Arch. Sylvie Duvernoy
Born in Dijon – France. She graduated in Architecture from Paris University in 1982.
From 1983 to 1984 she worked with the architecture office of Claudio Nardi in Florence, followed by three years at the Parisian office of the Swiss architecture firm Suter+Suter based in Basel.
In 1989 she settled in Florence and joined the Studio Orsanmichele. While working she continued advanced scholarship in architectural drawing, and in 1998 earned a Ph.D. from the Architecture School of the University of Florence. Subsequently, her professional activity has combined studio design and university teaching. In 2013 she was invited as Visiting Professor at the Knowlton School of Architecture of the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH.
She is currently an adjunct professor of architectural drawing at the University of Florence and at the Milan Polytechnic. She continues to collaborate with the Studio Orsanmichele.
